This Bird Can Remain in the Air for Ten Months

Researchers have found that these bird can stay flight for most of their 10 month long non-breeding period. These birds are known to fly from Europe to sub-Saharan Africa and not touch the ground. The fact that some birds continuously fly during their non-breeding period suggests that the species doesn't need to land for sleep. Researchers suggest that one reason that these birds stay in flight for so long may be because of its diet. What do you think?
