Samsung galaxy note 7 smartphones are catching fire.

This phone was released on August 7 to try to keep with the new iPhone 7 but customers were immediately complaining about this phone  catching fire randomly. Samsung claims that it is the battery getting overheated because it's made of lithium,  Samsung had offered replacement phones but those caught fire as well.

There have been some reports about phones catching fire without even being plugged in,  A flight even had to be stopped because a phone of a passenger started to smoke.  Samsung has already told consumers to turn off their phones and stop using them what the problem is being fixed.

I think that it's good that they got this message out before even more damage could be caused but I also think that Samsung should've been a little bit more careful about the battery because even the replacements blew up and it could cause some serious injuries especially if it falls into the hands of a child.

  1. I agree. I know they heat up but to catch fire is ridiculous. I hope they get this under control.
