Chemicals Found in Animal's Bloodstream - Lauren Rothert

A chemical group called perfluorophosphinic acids has been tested positive in the bloodstream of dolphins, fish and birds. This chemical can be found in pesticides and carpet cleaners, sources say that there has been an increased use of the product in the United States. When tested, all three animals tested positive for the chemical. Perfluorophosphinic acids have also been found in a human's bloodstream in Germany and the United States.

I believe that there should be a restriction on the use of pesticides. The poisoning of animals is not an unusual occurrence, runoff is a culprit as well. It is also unsafe for the humans that are eating the poisoned fish. If we were able to discover an alternative to pesticides and other harsh chemicals, the future of humans and animals would be stronger and more positive.

  2. I say the animals haven't done anything bad to the world to deserve this. Let's hope we can help them. ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜†
