Hurricane Matthew swept through the eastern coast of the United States killing 19 people so far and leaving over 2 million without power. Also there was so much water that there was record breaking flooding in NC. It was a category 4 hurricane until Saturday when it died down to a category 1. Unfortunately, throughout the southeast, there is at least $4 billion in damage to repair.
There wasn't much to really explain about hurricane Matthew, but the fact that it was so powerful really is unfortunate for the people living in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Theres also not much people can do to prevent natural disasters like hurricanes until new inventions are made to protect people and places from them.
