Caravan of heartache: Mothers hit the road in hunt for Central America migrants-Alyssa Hamilton

Mothers missing sons, husbands, uncles, fathers, family members......... Now they have a chance to find them. In General Escobedo, Mexico mothers are searching for lost family. This is their chance to find out what happened. "The group sponsoring the trip estimates that some 70,000 Central American migrants have disappeared in the past six years based on reports from nonprofit groups. Some of them have been found in the most brutal of circumstances: Hundreds of would-be migrants were discovered murdered in the community of San Fernando in the border state of Tamaulipas: first 72, most of them Central Americans, massacred on a farm in 2010, and nearly 200 people, some Mexicans, discovered in clandestine graves about six months later." Many families have been reconnected because of this "caravan" also the group pays for the mothers to search which many of them wouldn't have ever been able to do. The only problem from this is since thieves have seen these mothers searching and heard who their looking for on TV many have pulled fake kidnapping to get a ransom out of the poor moms.
