Musical Diamonds in Slums by Heather McKay

In the slums of Brazil, many young people are now being taken off the streets and into music classes. These classes are being provided for free and are very intense. It is helping the crime rate drop and is giving the extremely poor children a chance at a better life in the future. Also, it creates an escape for the kids so that they can get away from their maybe not so perfect life. Music is changing their lives!
