The Death of a Nigerian model lured by Facebook fraud - By Ausia Jones

Cynthia a boutique owner, grad student, and model met a guy while in Lagos buying a new stock of supplies for her boutique. While she was in Lagos she met a man and she returned home. When she got home the man added her on Facebook and his brother added her as well. That's when the stalking began. They began talking in group chats including the brother. The man asked her if she could come back to Lagos and he would pay for the plane ticket and hotel. When she got there the 2 men took her taped her mouth shut and chained her. Both of the men were torchered her and ended up killing her. Three weeks later the 2 men were found and taken to jail facing charges of conspiracy, robbery, and murder. Cynthia's parents hope that Cynthia's death serves as an eye opener for what lerks in the world of social media.

  4. This is scary and disturbing. I'm really glad they found the two men so the model's family can rest in peace. Why did they kill her? Why are there people like this?
On the other hand, she should have been more careful with her information. Friending them on facebook wasn't a good idea in the first place. Then getting on a plane to meet someone she's only met once? YOU JUST HAVE TO BE CAREFUL.
