City of the Transformed - Max Gaddis

The once crime-infested city of Medellin, Columbia has been transformed. The mayor, Anibal Gaviria, has done what no other mayor has done: he has restored tranquility, peace, and order to the city after it being run so long by Pablo Escobar, the drug lord. The mayor has done his best to maintain order by putting in seven-station outdoor escalators that run 18 hours a day, and a skyline that offers easy access to a nature reserve. Citizens can also ride the subway for less than a dollar.

I think this is the best way to restore the people's hope and trust in this city. The mayor made it a better place, just by adding these things alone!
