The government has been shutdown for 13 days and the problem is not close to resolving the fight over the budget. A meeting was held today to try to solve the conflict but little progress was made. Another meeting will be held on monday. The budget has been disputed by both parties and neither is willing to compromise, the republicans think that this will help stop Obama care and plan on keeping the shut down.
I think that this is ridiculous and I cant believe that the parties cant agree on something even if it means shutting down the government. I think that they should have already compromised a week ago. Congress is acting like children and this shutdown has went on to long and is causing american people to suffer.
