Dinasoars have feathers by: Juliet Stowe

Dinosaurs have Feathers

One of the most astonishing discoveries in scientific news is that dinosaurs may have in fact had feathered bodies. Found in a hunk of 99 million year old amber, was a perfectly preserved Dinosaur tail. But the tail was the most remarkable part, it was the feathers that covered the entire tail that really shocked scientists. This find have far more information that the rare feather imprint on stone or clay, because now ins can view every small detail of the relic in 3 dimensions. The color of said feathers are chestnut brown, and white, and they didn't have very strong shafts down the center leading many to believe that they were ornamental.

This is relevant because it mat be able to prove many more of our modern day animals are descended from the dinosaurs than previously thought. It is very important to know about the history of organisms, so we can better predict what will happen to our own species. This is a discovery that is sure to make it into many science textbooks for the future generations.
