I don’t have a very broad extent of knowledge on Rick Perry but i know he has a lot of controversy and scandal, and based on his debate to become president when he ran, I’m not too fond of the idea of him being in charge of our energy. Especially because of how dependent we are on fossil fuels and how polluted we are making the earth.

President-Elect Donald Trump has nominated former Texas Governor Rick Perry to be Secretary for the Dept. of Energy, a department Perry sought to do away with when he was running for President. If confirmed by the senate, Perry will inherit a department that focuses on clean energy and reducing dependence on fossil fuels.
