Current events blog 3

President Bashar Assad is completing the destruction of his country’s largest city, with the help of Russia. Aleppo is shuddering as bombs rain down. Between 200 and 300 people have been killed in the past week. Hospitals that were still functioning have now been hit, leaving nowhere to help the more than 200,000 residents, many of them already gravely hurt.

Aleppo has been fighting with the government since 2012 but this is the biggest strike yet.  I truly hope that Aleppo surrenders so the blood and hardship can come to an end. No matter what they do, this is a fight that I don’t think they can win.
