Global Warming Linked to Glacier Melting
Though scientist have always had their suspicions that global warming was the cause of the ice caps melting, it has now been confirmed beyond a doubt. After studying and analyzing 37 glaciers over a period of time they have confirmed with almost 100 percent certainty that climate change is resulting in these massive icebergs to slowly deteriorate. Though previously they had only 66% certainty that the bergs were melting because of the increase in temperature, they now claim they are "virtually certain". These glaciers hold 75%of Earths fresh water, making this find all the more important.
This has relevance because this proves that because of green house gases we are rapidly loosing our main source of fresh water. The ice caps melting could result in oceans rising and cities by the shores being entirely engulfed in the sea. Since we now know that this means we could be speeding up in the destruction of our planet, maybe thus will spur on action to help convert to cleaner energy sources.

If you look t pictures of the north pole thirty years ago versus now, the two pictures look very different. A very large percentage of ice is now melted and many species of animals are becoming endangered so hopefully it isn't too late and we can make a change to make our industrial aspects of life more environmentally friendly.
