Maddie DeWitt Current Event
My current event is about a wildfire that happened in Gatlinburg,Tennessee on December 2, 2016. It was a near by hurricane that took away loved ones lost or missing people loved ones. 17,000 acres were burned . This wildfire was burned mostly in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The experts say that it couldnt be stopped. It's crazy to see that all that land burned from a fire. I hope people find a way to prevent it, even though it's wild, there should be a solution.
