The over year long struggle over Syrian city Aleppo has finally come to a conclusion. Assad, the Syrian dictator that the refugees in Aleppo have been fighting against, has regained control of the city. This isn't good for the Syrians as having a tyrant in power never is, and we can only hope things don't go too poorly from here, as acting in support of the refugees is a touchy subject.
I think this is a travesty, and that these people deserve to be freed from the iron grip that crushes them, but for the US to act would be in fairly direct opposition towards Russia, and I'm not to keen on the idea of world war three just yet. I don't really know what should be done and it's pretty scary.
