Khadijah Thomas, Texas mother arrested after 7 special-needs kids found living in filthy room, locked in closet

7 malnourished teens, ages ranging from 13 to 16, were found locked in closet of their adopted mother. (Paula Sinclair)

Whenever Sinclair needed to leave, she would lock the children in a 5-by-8 foot closet. Sinclair would beat the children with a wooden paddle whenever the children tried to escape.
Sometimes, when the children were left in the closet for too long, they had to urinate on themselves

Sinclair was arrested on December 3rd.

I honestly wish people would stop having their way with people who can't defend themselves. Unfortunately, these poor children were adopted by Sinclair when they were born.
I just don't know what could honestly make someone get the idea to abuse children, or anybody in that matter. It's just sad.

  1. What drives someone to do this? Why would she adopt these kids if she didn't want to properly care for them?

  2. I never understood the point of keeping children if you obviously don't want to. Im glad she was finally arrested but I hate that it took so long for it to happen.

  3. These are the kinds of people that need to be stopped, gladly she was arrested, but those kids must be traumatized.
