New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has turned down multiple positions, including Homeland Security secretary, secretary of veterans affairs and ambassador to Italy, In Trump’s administration. The position Christie wanted, Attorney general, went to Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions. Christie has also faded from the list of potential candidates to replace Reince Priebus, Trump's incoming White House chief of staff, as chairman of the Republican National Committee.
Good for Christie not taking seconds of trump’s positions. he wanted one, was promised it, and it was given to someone else.
