Bulgarian Train Explodes and Kills 5- Victoria Gonzalez Current Events

On Saturday December, 10 a Bulgarian cargo train exploded in northeastern Belgium killing 5 and injuring 27. It also damaged more than 50 houses and buildings in the village of Hitrino. The cargo train was apparently carrying propane butane when the train exploded and damaged or set fire to public buildings in the village. Luckily many people were able to survive the damage and explosion of the train, as well as escape the burning buildings effected by the gas but the train still caused much damage. Soon after the explosion, Prime Minister Boyko Borisov went to the village to pay respects as well as help investigate to find out what caused the explosion. There is still no clear reason as to why the train exploded, but many pay their respects to all who have suffered from this tragedy. My heart goes out to the families of the victims, and I hope the investigation is successful in order to see to it that such a tragedy never reoccurs.
