A polar vortex will bring 'dangerously' cold weather howling winds to millions of Americans. In the Midwest and northeast, areas could experience their lowest temperatures in the century. Wind chills could drop to 30 or 40 degrees. Some exposed skin could develop frostbite within 10 minutes.
This is important because this could be some of the United States' oldest weather. I am really hoping it snows this year because it would be nice to have a snow day or two. Last year it didn't snow, so this year there is an obvious drop in temperatures.

Wow, this is crazy that it's getting so cold, but Texas usually never gets this cold so I have a feeling it will be getting even colder soon. Also I agree with you, I hope we get some snow!!
