Australian fires are out of control...why? _Breanne Moreno

Australia is going through s lot of out of control wildfires. The continent's long droughts are being blamed for the fires. Australia's long series if droughts has made dry conditions, even in its humid climatic regions-even though most of Australia's climates are mostly dry. There have been hundreds of fires seen in every Australian state this year. Even before the drought, only six percent of australia's 2.9 million square miles was able to produce crops .More than half of the continent's total area is tropical desert that extends from its west coast throughout much of its interior. Surrounding that desert is steppe grassland which has a semi-desert, where even meager precipitation is undependable. So that is why Australia can not control the bursting outrage of wildfires in there area. It just naturally happens because of their climate.

This shows exactly where the specific areas in Australia have the climates they have which is why there are so many wildfires.
