River... of Death by Madeline Ibarra

In Northern India, an overcrowded bus skidded off road and feel into a river, killing at least 33 of the passengers. Ever since the accident, there have been 33 confirmed deaths and 14 people seriously injured and are now in the hospital. It is not clear exactly how many passengers were on the bus because there could have been several bodies, living or dead, that were washed away with the current. it is not know if the bodies will or can be recovered because the river runs through the mountainous regions in India. "The accident occurred near the popular summer resort of Kullu, 250 kilometres from Himachal Pradesh state capital Shimla." said the news report. This accident is now said to be the worst bus accident that has occurred in India.
It always bothers me to hear stories such as this to happen so frequently. Its hard to imagine what it must have been like on that bus and have survived. Those people probably are feeling guilt because they made it and their possible friends, family members, or loved ones didn't. I hope all the survivors in the hospital recover and officials can recover lost bodies do they can be properly buried.
