'Pay up or die': Thousands of Australians receive death threat text message- Joseph Katinas

On Monday, across Australia police agencies put out alerts declaring as fake text messages and emails sent to tons of Australians saying they had to pay $5000 or die. The police say to delete immediately and never respond. The police have dealt with these people before but they have never seen it reach this far out. Many officials say there is absolutely nothing like this. While the police would not tell reporters who the person was, they said they were shocked. I find this article suprising. It's amazing what phones can do to harm people. http://www.cnn.com/2012/07/23/tech/australia-death-threat-text-messages/index.html
