Disney: 'Star Wars' spinoffs there will be- Joseph Katinas

Disney has announced that in addition to the new sequel trilogy of Star Wars, there will also be two standalone films apart from the main ones. They will be released sometime after summer 2015, which is when Episode VII will be released. George Lucas, who is not incharge of Star Wars anymore, after Disneys recent purchase of the franchise, but is rather a creative director, says on his website LucasFilms that each film will focus on a specific character. More details will be released later. There is already a great team working on them. I find this article unbelievable. I am an ENOURMOUS Star Wars fan. I am already so excited for Episodes VII, VIII, and IX. This makes want to scream out loud. It would be awesome if they did a movie on Chewbacca or Lando Calrissian.
