When the Carnival Cruise ship docked in Sydney, Australia on Thursday morning, a 30 year old man and a 26 year old woman were reported missing. Police officers observed onboard and approximated that the couple went overboard about 93 miles off of Foster, New South Wales. According to Detective Superintendent Mark Hutchings, the couple were up on the mid- deck when they jumped/fell which is a pretty long fall. Despite the 135 mile distance from Foster to Sydney there is still hope for finding the couple. This is just one of the several recent mishaps on the Carnival Cruiseline this year.
