On May 15, 2013, a German jewel thief, Carlo Konstantin, was convicted o exporting drugs. He was then transported to through Bangcock. While under Austrailian export he managed to escape his guards and flee from the airport leaving Australian guards embarrassed.
The author of the article,Sarrah Titterton, seemed to have a point that this incident proved to be embarrassing and humiliating for the Australian government due to allowing for this mishap to happen. She wrote the article at 10:29 am on May 28, 2013.
I believe this article was written to create awareness of how important it is for the government to keep crimininals under control for the safety of everyone.
Hopefully they'll catch him before he does anything else.
