Twin australian girls born 16 DAYS apart - By Anneke Davis

Two twin girls Alessia and Lara Deleo were born twins, but born 16 days apart from each other. Alessia was born February 2nd and Lara was born February 18th. The doctors feared that when Alessia was born, Lara may not make it or come out prematurely, in fact she did and lived. The two, including the mother, stayed in the hospital approximatley 23 weeks for observation. The mother of the two feared for health problems down the line but today the two twins are happy and healthy little girls.

  1. 16 days apart! I didn't even know that was possible. I'm glad both are alive and healthy, and I hope that they stay healthy as they grow older.

  2. I have never heard of twins being born sixteen days apart. I have only heard of twins being born minutes or seconds apart. I am very happy that these twins are healthy and that the mom stayed alive because it would just be heart braking to hear that both the twins and the mother died. I hope these children continue to be healthy as they age, and I hope they become strong adults.

  3. Maybe one was not known to be there? Like maybe not fully developed or got stuck or something :/... Weird, but interesting!
