Kidnapped Chinese Boy Finds His Way Home After 23 Years by Using Google Maps - Lysette Barrera

Lou Gang was only 5 years old when he was kidnapped on his way to school, 23 years ago. His parents searched for him for years but eventually gave up the seemingly hopeless endeavor. Gang was treated like family by his kidnappers and new "parents", but he never completely forgot the life he was taken from. He was able to roughly sketch a map of his old town, and poste a request for information on a website that helped missing children and their families. He was answered by a person who informed him that 23 years ago a family lost their son when he was declared missing, and by using google maps, Gang immediately recognized his town. He has reunited with his family but no charges have been placed yet.
