Australia calls off rescue operation after boat capsizing - Jack VanGorden

On Friday, a boat carrying scores capsized off the coast of Indonesia signaling the end of the efforts to find survivors. An Australian naval shop was able to rescue 55 people but many have perished in the sea. The search has been going on since Wednesday when authorities received a call saying that the ship was having trouble with the engine. There is said to be about 150 people aboard. This is one of the many shipwrecks that have happened over the past couple of months. I think that it this is terrible. Hopefully, people learn from this and won't sail unless they know it is safe to do so.
