28 additional bodies were rescued from a tunnel collapse in the eastern Indonesian province of Papua, earlier this week. The tunnel at the underground mine training facility collapsed after a landslide. 10 bodies were initially after the immediate collapse. The mining company is doing all that it can to prevent a collapse from reoccurring, including setting up an investigation. The company CEO says that fatalities are not ok for the company; their workforce is their number one priority. I hope that the company can make changes to their training facilities to ensure that a disaster like this can never happen. I hope the workers who were rescued recover.
