The Search for 2
Cruise Ship Passengers Ends

The search
for two cruise ship passengers that were thought to have fallen overboard was
called off Friday. At port in Sydney, Australia the two were reported missing
after not claiming their luggage aboard the 10 day island cruise on the
Carnival Cruise boat “Spirit.” 27-year-old
Kristen Schroder and 30-year-old Paul Rossington were said to have gone
overboard Wednesday after the ship’s surveillance cameras were evaluated. They
were estimated to have fallen off the ship about 93 miles off the coast of New
South Wales. New South Wales police and navy have searched around 1,360 square
miles at sea, and then on Friday the search was called off. Also, this isn’t
the only time Carnival has had major reports. Recently, a Carnival ship had an
engine that failed while in the Gulf of Mexico and wasn’t moving for a while.
This is scary to happen. It’s very important
to be informed with these things especially when booking a vacation. Hopeful Carnival
can increase the safety of their ships to lessen the risk of things like this
happening.

I wonder if they jumped or if they fell accidentallly.
ReplyDeleteCarnival doesn't seem like a great ship to ride on with all of these things that are happening. I'm wondering the same thing did they jump or was it an accident.
ReplyDeleteIt seems like Carnival is getting a bad reputation...
ReplyDeleteSo they called of the search cause they thought they were dead.
