In Canada it seems scientists have discovered some moss that was frozen in a glacier for a very long time and yet has the ability to regrow now and is because of this apparently alive. This is wonderful and possibly leads to some opportunity for experimentation with other organisms being preserved for a prolonged amount of time in ice.
