Five bodies pulled from massive Mexico mudslide by Paige Kutschall

Deadly storms in Mexico last weeks created an awful mudslide covering half of a village. 68 people were reported missing and police have only pulled out five. President Enrique Pena Nieto thinks there is little hope for finding anybody alive in the village. This mudslide happened on September 16, the country's Independence Day.

I can't belive such an awful natural disaster killed so many people. You never really think of mudslides as deadly. It is so sad that this happened on medicos Independence Day.

  2. Its scary to think at anytime, you could die from such an unusual event. And its sad to know it was on their Independence Day since thats probably a pretty happy and festive day.

  4. That's so sad, I can't imagine the families of those who died. It would be awful to be celebrating and having fun on a day like that only to get a call saying someone you love is dead.
