Trevor Walker's American Conflict Post

After some compromise from both the US and Russia, we have finally reached a solution that will result in the destruction of Syria's weapons of mass destruction. This deed shall be done before the middle of 2014 and we shall enforce certain punishments if Russia refuses to do so. The US Secretary of State (John Kerry), and the Russian Foreign Minister (Sergey Lavrov) in Geneva announced that the deal would have "a shared assessment" of the amounts of weapons. Additionally, Bashar Assad will cooperate in any way he can so that ALL the weapons may be confiscated and destroyed. Russia and the US pressed for a United Nations contract that would make the agreement un-un-do-able. However, if this contract is rejected, the US is prepared to act aggressively against their enemies.
Russia on the other hand, is against this "contract" which would only make these negotiations last even longer. Assad will now have to live up to his promises, no funny business this time. Syria had not made it very clear that they had sign on the agreement, which they will only sign if Damascus reveals they're full inventory of stocks before the next weekend. Russia will be manipulating Syria for a while as they are very close allies and Russia holds influence over Syria. This deal sends a very strong message across the world that weapons of mass destruction will not be tolerated and will be eradicated from the face of the Earth.
