Stop Bullying by Bette Rathjen

A middle school girl committed suicide because of being bullied in school. The school changed her class schedule but even after that the bullying continued. Eventually her mom pulled her out of school but nothing could stop those other girls from bullying her. She got hurtful messages on many social media and decided to take her life. I believe that this article was written to show that what people say can really hurt others and just pressing "send" can ruin somebody's life. People should just stop bullying. It does not help the bully in any way and you can get into a lot of trouble for it. We all need to work together to stop bullying and to make people aware of what they can do.

  1. I agree, the bullying situation and the general behavior of kids in the country is unacceptable. Adults just don't care enough to help and it is killing people.

    1. I believe that it's less that the adults don't care, and more that the kids don't care. In my experience, no matter how many caring and helpful adults try to stop bullying, it won't stop until kids and teens realize that it is neither funny nor cool and that lives can be lost because of it...

  2. I agree, a lot of teens have taken there lives because of bullying and I think that if more and more people start to care eventually the bullying will decrease. All it takes is a brave soul to step out and say something.

  3. She got pulled out? no. The bullies need to be pulled out, and also spanked.
