Syrian refugees in Germany by Eleanor E-W

Germany agreed to allow 5,00 Syrian refugees to come live in Germany for approximately two years. Many Syrian refugees are being moved out of Syria and into Germany. The UNHCR and the U.N. chose specific refugees that they thought most needed to be moved (like single mothers, and ill people). The refugees have to adjust to Germany, they have to get jobs and learn how to speak German.  Some Syrians are glad to be in Germany because of the medical and educational things it can over them.

I think it’s good that refugees are being moved out of Syria. Since Germany is a well off country, I think they will be in a much better situation there. I hope that other European countries can do the same thing Germany is doing so there are more homes for Syrian refugees.

  1. I also think that it's good they're moving the refugees out for now! They're safer in Germany away from most of the violence going on

  2. It will be hard adjusting to a new culture, but they are much safer there.
