Did you know that India is one of the world's leading countries in road deaths? As of now, there are 3 cardboard cut outs of policemen, and many say that they are helping out a lot. Bangalore police commisioner MA Saleem said, "Drivers in Indian cities violate traffic rules when there are no cops around, they jump traffic lights and go the wrong way on one-way streets." "These cut-out cops are very effective and they can be on the job seven days a week." One driver even commented on the cut-outs, "Two or three times we thought it was a real policemen standing there and we slowed down," he said, and now 10 more are planned to be installed on the streets of Bangalore.

Just imagine if there were cardboard cops here. I think it would remind people they have to follow the rules of the road.
