Tsunami in the Philipines By: Zaria Chambers

On Friday a major earthquake right off the shore of the Philippines. Many people went searching for a higher place. The small earthquake was reported to be a small tsunami and it killed at least one person. The earthquake had a magnitude of 7.6 and it struck 20 miles deep. The "tsunami's waves ranged from 6 to 7 inches to a foot. These large waves were reported in Surigua del Norte. The waves didn't create any damage  but the earthquake created a landslide.

I think that this article is kind of sad because one person was killed in earthquake. I hope that nothing like this will happen again.

  3. Even though natural disasters can be unpredictable, it's good that few were hurt and it was a smaller tsunami.
