Voters in Zimbabwe have voted in a referendum on a new constitution that would limit future presidents to two terms.
The draft constitution also proposes:
- A bill of rights to protect free expression
- Devolution to provincial authorities
- Scrapping the president's power to veto legislation
- Halting legal challenges against land redistribution
Polls opened at 05:00 GMT and closed at 17:00 GMT, and the voting day was largely peaceful.
Election officials said results of the referendum would be announced within five days.
I think the lady's face says it all. She is so happy to have voted.
