Water tanker detonation in a military checkpoint - Violet Klimaszewski

On Sunday, March 24, a water tanker drove into a military checkpoint.  A normal occurrence, except for the fact that the tanker was loaded with 1,100 pounds of live ammunition. When  the tanker exploded, at least 17 soldiers were killed, with an additional 26  who were wounded. This happened in North Waziristan, one of the 7 districts in Pakistan's volatile tribal region, bordering Afghanistan.
I wonder what could have provoked such actions...

  2. What military base was this on? More and more of these kinds of attacks seem to be happening lately in this part of the world. :/
