Explosives-packed water tanker targets Pakistani military checkpoint; 17 killed - Jack VanGorden

On Sunday, a water tanker packed with explosives drove into a military checkpoint killing at least 17.
26 troops were wounded in a previous attack on the checkpoint in Eesha in North Waziristan. Officials stated that the tanker was carrying over 500 kilograms of explosives, which is equivalent to 1,100 pounds. I wonder what the can do to prevent another explosion from occurring.
