India children with little food- Amanda Cervantes

In India many children live in low income households where parents do not make enough money to fully support their families. And because of that families have restricted food servings at home. Most children eat extremely small breakfasts and very little dinner. The only place where kids can get good healthy meals is at school. Which is also why indian children strive for education. After a decision by the Supreme court in 2001  all indian schools must provide free food for students 13 and under. But food is prepared daily in giant food factories where workers use imported fresh foods to make fresh batches of traditional Inidian food in gigantic cauldrouns, which are then shipped by trucks to the different schools.
