Skydive Instructor with Dead Student by Sydney May

Sydney May

In Florida, not too long ago, two bodies were found. One was a sky-diving instructor, and the other was his student. They had both died, but they had both gone at separate times off of the plane. Of 22 people jumping that day, only 20 returned. A spokeswoman, Melanie Snow refused to mention whether or not the parachutes had been opened, as it was apparently a secret part of the investigation. After only 20 of the people had come back to base, they began to worry and immediately sent a search crew out to find them. Their bodies were found in the woods by an airport of the area, and they were found close to each other, lifeless. The names of these men are going to be released after their families are notified. This article was written by The Associated Press, and it was horrifying to hear. I did not sense any bias, which was nice. I believe that this article was written for people around that area of Florida, or people whose friends and family were involved in this skydiving venture. I feel so bad for the families, and I hope that all ends up well.

  2. This is frightening. I wonder what happened, and why both the instructor and student died. I wonder how often the parachute fails to open. Hopefully they solve the investigation!
