In the western part of India on Thursday, two Indian air force planes crashed. The traumatic event killed all who were onboard which were nine personnel. An Indian air force statement said that both choppers were on a flight in Gujarat the time when they crashed. An accidental mid air collision is one of the possibilities, but there has been an investigation ordered.
Although this happens not very frequently, it is very scary to have this devastating situation happen unexpectedly. The family and friends of the personnel must be grieving, and I feel for them. I hope that they can find the cause, and that it is not some cruel joke.
How could they have collided in mid air without seeing each other? Unless there was inclement weather. I hope they find out what caused the crash and prevent it in the future.
