Tornado in Bangladesh Post by: Addison Norman

Tornado in Bangladesh
Post by: Addison Norman

Last week, a destructive tornado swept through Bangladesh. The tornado killed around 20 people, but the death number is expected to rise because rescuers are having difficulty get to all harmed areas. There are close to 200 injuries resulting from the windstorm. Also, multiple homes throughout the 15 villages have been destroyed leaving many people homeless. Fallen trees and service poles and wires have causes roads to be blocked and power outages. Not only did the tornado harm homes and people, it also damaged crops, especially rice.
This tornado is a prime example of how the environment has a major role in human life. When there is a change to the environment, like a natural disaster, it can put many in danger. Natural disasters are very important to be aware of because they are forces that can’t usually be stopped by humans.

  1. This is really devastating. I hope that there aren't any more people found dead by this tornado. I hope that there will be a relief program for those whos homes were destroyed

  2. It's strange to hear about a tornado in Bangladesh because they usually happen in the US.
