On Sunday, a truck packed with explosives gained access to a military base in Northern Paskistan and exploded, killing at least 17 troops. The truck was carrying a lot of bombs, more than 1,000 pounds of them. I wish I could say that this is a surprise to have something like this happen in the Middle East. Unfortunately, occurences like this are an everyday affair. I can't believe that disagreements have gotten to such a point that violence is not only happening, but it is happening on a grand scale. I hope that these differences are resolved before we're all blown up.
