Today there was an open fire shooting in a residential area of Azusa. In result of this shooting one person was injured and two others are left in critical condition. The shooter was armed with military-style rifle, and the police announced that the shooter was found dead in the residence. Authorities had to secure the neighborhood and many voters scrabbling to other safe locations. The police are still trying to figure out if the shooter died from a self inflicted gun shot or a shot from the police.The shoot is believed to not be related to the polling place so the motive is very unclear.
The fact that people feel like they should shoot people for no reason is ridiculous. We live in a time where shootings are normal in public places like schools,clubs,offices, and even gas stations. It is sad to hear that every day the number of open fire shootings is increasing... each generally getting worse than the others( like the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting and the Orlando night club shooting.)

I agree with what you said about the sudden increase in shootings. I honestly expected some sort of chaos to breakout during today's election, but I never expected to hear about a shooting.

ReplyDeleteI believe that there should be gun control laws in place to help prevent these types of incidents from happening.
ReplyDeleteAll kinds of crazy things happen and it's only going to get worse these next for years. However, we need to stay hopeful and stick together.
ReplyDeleteI hope that someday stricter gun control laws will be enforced to decrease the number of shootings. The fact that you can openly carry a gun nowadays is very scary. This shouldn't be a normal thing that is happening today so hopefully something will be done about it.
