North Pole 36 degrees warmer than usual

The extent of sea ice covering the Arctic Ocean is record low. Scientists say that these temperatures are cause by warm air being produced at lower latitudes being brought up north. The area of the ice is even record low of 2012. This has been the second year in a row that temperature have risen to really warm levels. Read more:

  2. This sounds like global warming to me, unfortunately our current presidential nominee has no plans to combat it, which will most likely be a problem.

  3. I agree, this is an impact of global warming. Global warming is impacting the animals in the North Pole as well.
