Melanie Escalante- Arrested and accused of trying to Join ISIS

Aaron Travis Daniels [Harun Muhammad and Abu Yusuf] , a 20 year old man from Ohio, was arrested on November 7th due to the fact that he sent $250 in January to an ISIS representative and confirmed violent overseas jihad. He was arrested at an airport in Columbus before flying to Libya where he would've made his commitment to ISIS officially. Investigators believe that he kept his actions to himself, therefore no one else was involved. This man could face up to 20 years in prison if convicted after his bond hearing schedule. 

I don't understand how he sent the money in January but it's barely being uncovered now. I know it takes time and they've probably been tracking his activity since but it still seems so crazy. It's scary to think that he, and possibly others, pretend to be someone they aren't and turn against us. Whatever happens, I hope the fair choice is made.
