Egg Rock by Juliet Stowe

Last week "Curiosity", a NASA Mars Rover, discovered a golf ball sized rock that look out of place amoung the red-orange sand covering most of Mars. The rock was small and dense, and look like silver, obviously striking the astronauts with curiosity. A team took the rock aboard, analyzing it with "ChemCam", as the scientist referred to the stone as "Egg Rock". Data results reveal that it is a iron-nickel meteor, that is foreign to Mars. Further results confirm that it was indeed once the center of a molten hot asteroid.

This has relevance because NASA could learn tons more about foreign space object by looking at this meteor. With more knowlage of space piling up every day, we can deduce all sorts of new things. For example, if we were to discover more of these meteor we could learn more about asteroids. New satalites could be built more durable to withstand meteor showers, and new advances could be made.
