Russian President Vladimir Putin called to "congratulate" Trump after his win in the presidency. While on the call they talked about many subjects, such as the historical details on the US-Russian relationship. They also talked about threats that were said and economic issues. As well as those issues they also talked about normalizing the two countries and joining together to fight against terrorism.
After hearing first of all that Putin called Trump and was talking to him and congratulating him it kind of freaked me out to be honest. Also hearing that Russia could become closer allies with us it was very odd to me. I'm not really sure how I feel about this phone call. How do you feel about it?
